IDENTITY THEFT is prevalent in today's society especially among the elderly. Please DO NOT give out personal information to anyone. These thieves try to catch you off guard to seek the information they need to steal your identity. DO NOT be afraid to hang up on these thieves - you will not hurt their feelings- they have none!! You can report these calls to your local police department or call this COA office and let me know.
SCAMS - There are many scams out there so beware when answering questions. HANG UP if you get calls that make you uncomfortable and report these calls to the authorities.
