Boylston Town Buildings Closed to Public

In response to the Coronavirus, and in consideration of information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the declaration of a State of Emergency in Massachusetts by Governor Baker on March 23, 2020, and the Executive Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law issued by Governor Baker on March 12, 2020, the Boylston Town Hall, Boylston Town House, and all other buildings with the exception of the Police and Fire Stations for emergency services will be closed to the public from Monday, March 16th through Monday, May 18th, 2020 per the Governor's emergency order delivered on April 28th.  The status will be evaluated at a later date if further closing is necessary. The staff will be available during normal hours of operation (Town Hall 8:00 am – 2:00 pm) Monday through Thursday to answer phone calls or email questions from the public.  There will be no office hours on Monday evenings from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

The closure of the Town Hall will impact those seeking services from all departments operating at the Town Hall. Town offices may be contacted by telephone or e-mail. To find the Town Office contact sheet click here.

Residents and other interested parties can drop off bills, applications for permits and licenses at the drop box located at Town Hall and access other information and services at the Town Website. Payments by check will still be accepted through the drop box located to the right of the main entrance of the Town Hall.  Cash is not accepted.  Department-specific operational changes can be found here.

Meals on Wheels and our transportation services will continue to operate through the Council on Aging at this time for medical appointments only but may be subject to change.  We are continuing to evaluate if we can provide a meal take-out service to those who regularly come to the senior center to eat.
