Basketball Buddies is not just about basketball. In an effort to nurture and maintain friendships, Basketball Buddies founder/coach - Christine Lewis, organizes several social opportunities throughout the calendar year for the buddies. During the 8 week program, they have a family and friends tailgating party, a successful FUNdraiser night at Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, as well as an end of the season award celebration. In the winter, they typically play in one of the College of Holy Cross half-time basketball games and every May, they march in the Boylston Memorial Day parade. They have been known to get together for cookouts and pool parties, attend plays and the circus, and meet for lunch in several establishments. Basketball Buddies is a family of friends that together create a village of love, acceptance and lasting relationships.
